ANAHEIM, Calif. – The Astros will fly from Orange County to Dallas after Sunday’s series finale against the Los Angeles Angels and wait out Tropical Storm Harvey from the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
As of Sunday afternoon, no determinations had been made about the Astros’ scheduled three games against the Texas Rangers on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at Minute Maid Park.
"Really, I think everything is up in the air," Astros manager A.J. Hinch said on Sunday morning. "We might get to Houston sometime in the next couple of days and play. We might not. I don’t know what’s possible. The commissioner’s going to have to handle all of this in communication with the two teams. Baseball is secondary right now. Our schedule, our flight times, where we’re going to be, the buses, all of that stuff is meaningless compared to what everybody is suffering through."
